KMF Foreign Business Professionals Program in Auburn Hills, MI | Summit Place KIA

Eligible Customers

Customers who currently hold an eligible visa and earn a minimum annual income of $60,000 may qualify. Eligible visa categories include H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E1, E2, E3, and J1, with H-1B1 visas newly added to the list.

For J1 visa holders, eligibility is limited to specific job types, including Professor and Research Scholar, Physician, and Teacher.

Please keep the following important program requirements and conditions in mind:

• Contract terms may not exceed the applicant’s maximum length of stay in the U.S. according to the applicant’s U.S. visa, letter of employment, or other supporting document.
• No credit history required; however, established credit history must be in good standing. Final credit decision is at the discretion of KMF.
• Customers will receive a welcome kit, which includes customer service contact information.

Requirements for Application Package

Applicants participating in the Kia Foreign Business Professionals Program must provide the following documentation:

• Completed KMF Foreign Business Professionals Program Application
• Front and back copy of applicant’s U.S. Social Security Card
• Copy of applicant’s U.S. Visa with all photos redacted
• Letter of employment which includes the applicant’s job title, start and end dates, income and anticipated length of employment in the U.S., employer contact
• Proof of U.S. residence and phone number
• Agreement to Provide Insurance
• Signed Foreign Business Professionals Program Addendum

Eligible Vehicles

The Kia Foreign Business Professionals Program applies to any new or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Kia vehicle. Customers may choose from eligible new Kia models or qualifying Kia CPO vehicles available at the dealership. Regular used vehicles that are not Kia Certified Pre-Owned are not eligible for this program.

Customer Protection Guidelines

A Foreign Business Professional customer may terminate their KMF lease or retail contract prior to the end of the contract term with no further contractual liability provided written proof, satisfactory to KMF, is provided that one of the following Qualifying Circumstances occurs prior to the scheduled lease maturity date or retail contract maturity date:

• Customer’s U.S. visa terminates
• Customer’s U.S. visa expires and the renewal has been rejected by the U.S. Department of State
• Customer’s foreign employer has recalled the customer to their home country
• Customer’s U.S. employer has terminated their employment for a reason other than for cause
